Calorie from fat and calorie from carb: Which is more fattening?

There were previous reports that calories from fats are more fattening than calories from carbohydrates. There is a low fat diet proposed by Dean Ornish,

a clinical professor of medicine at the University of California in San Francisco and a low carb diet proposed by Dr. Robert Coleman Atkins, a cardiologist and nutritionist of America, both showing how effective each approach about weight loss. But the new reasearch reveals that there is no relevant difference between calories from fat and calories from carb in terms of weight loss. see full story here.
